Hope & Wild began with a simple but important tension.
I wanted my home to smell beautiful — but not at the cost of the planet.
Every year, over 35 million candle containers end up in landfill, and only around 8% are suitable for recycling — not including reed diffuser bottles.
Perfectly good vessels — used once, then discarded.
This ‘throwaway’ culture never quite made sense to me.
So I started thinking — what if we didn’t have to throw them away at all?
What if one product could become both a candle and a reed diffuser — something you refill, reuse, and keep?
That’s where Hope & Wild began.

Designed to Last
Our ceramic vessels and diffuser converter lids are individually hand-thrown in the UK, making each piece completely unique.
Crafted from natural, non-toxic materials and finished with durable, natural glazes, they are designed to be cleaned, reused, and transformed — again and again.
Clean, Conscious Candles
Our refill candles are hand-poured in the UK using a sustainable soy and rapeseed wax blend.

- Water-soluble, so residue can be easily cleaned away
Each refill is finished with an organic, lead-free cotton wick to ensure an even melt pool, and wrapped in fully recyclable, biodegradable glassine paper.

We use 100% natural essential oils and sustainably sourced fragrance oils to create our blends — free from parabens, phthalates, and synthetic toxins.
