Why I created the first 2-in-1 Refillable Candle & Reed Diffuser

Over 36 million candle containers are thrown away in the UK every year. Only around 7% can be recycled. I know, because I was one of the people throwing them away — glass jar after glass jar, diffuser bottle after diffuser bottle — and it started to bother me deeply.

I wanted to do better. For us, and for future generations.

One Vessel, Two Rituals

The idea was simple: what if one beautifully made vessel could be both a candle and a reed diffuser? Instead of buying two products — each with their own disposable container — you'd buy one vessel and simply refill it. Saving double the landfill, without compromising on luxury.

Our handcrafted ceramic vessel transforms from candle to reed diffuser simply by swapping the lid with our ceramic converter lid. Ceramic was the only material that made sense — durable, heat-safe, and designed to be kept, not discarded. One vessel. Two rituals. Used again and again.
